Canopi Logistics Achieves AEO Customs Authorisation
International logistics company awarded AEOC status by HM Revenue & Customs
(London, UK – 26 June 2026) – Canopi Logistics, an international logistics company specialising in fresh produce and temperature-sensitive cargo, today announced that it has been awarded Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status by HM Revenue & Customs.
Canopi has been granted AEOC (Authorised Economic Operator – Customs) status, recognising the company's customs compliance, processes and controls.
AEO is an internationally recognised status for businesses involved in international supply chains. AEOC specifically recognises businesses that meet established standards for customs compliance and related processes.
“Building a strong customs operation was one of our priorities from the beginning,” said Pina Roos, Co-Founder of Canopi Logistics. “For a business handling fresh produce, customs can't sit separately from the rest of the logistics operation. Achieving AEOC status is recognition of the work the team has put into getting those processes right.”
Iuliana-Adina Firica, Customs and Compliance Manager at Canopi Logistics, said: “AEOC is an important milestone for Canopi because it reflects the systems, controls and processes we have built around customs. It also gives our customers additional confidence that their imports are being managed within a robust and recognised compliance framework.”
The authorisation comes as Canopi continues to expand its logistics, customs clearance and UK delivery services for fresh-produce importers, with a particular focus on supply chains between Latin America and the UK.
Canopi Logistics is an international logistics and supply chain company specialising in temperature-sensitive, time-critical cargo. The company combines international freight, customs clearance and final-mile delivery to manage the movement of cargo as a single operation.
